Polycom camera works with Polycom's software and will not function as a web cam in Web Meeting. ViaVideo and its software are compatible with any ITU H.323 standard endpoint such as NetMeeting, and Polycom's line of H.323 products.
you require high speed internet for ip camera works.IP camera is a combination of a camera and acomputer. The camera can be connected directly to the network. It has built-in software for a web server, FTP server and e-mail client. Some advanced versions support motion detection and alarm input/output ports.

• These signals are converted from analog to
digital format
